Shed Construction Reconstruction
In an effort to better understand how and why James makes his wood buildings, a reconstruction was done of a shed he built. He mimics construction methods of those around him and from videos he watches. The shed is assembled out of scrap wood James collected and built with a handsaw, hammer and nails. Some nails were picked out by him and purchased, but most were removed with a crow bar from old wood. The shed reconstruction followed these restraints and instructions by James. Limbs were collected, cut and ordered in the shed for firewood. James loaned his materials for the project.
