Originally from the Midwest, I received my BFA in Photography and BS in Anthropology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. I graduated from Syracuse University in 2009 with a MFA in Photography. I fell in love with Maine on a summer visit, and that is where I currently live. I have worked in arts therapy, education at the college and high school level, photography, and marketing/communications. I am currently making bespoke interiors as a woodworker employed at Woodhull.

My artwork has shown frequently in exhibitions and screenings in the US and abroad, including exhibits at Soho Gallery for the Digital Arts in New York City and the Center for Photography in Woodstock, NY, as well as on the cover of Harper’s Magazine. I was awarded the Professional Scholarship Grant in 2010 from the Lucie Foundation in Los Angeles for a photography project about my developmentally disabled brother.
